Elisabeth Waldstein is a South Floridian impressionist painter. She was formed in the classical traditions while living and studying abroad in Europe, Austria and the United States.

In 2013 she was diagnosed with the rarest of inoperable heart tumors and began devoting her life to the art she loved. Having such a rare condition, Elisabeth rejoices in life and delights in every day she is given.

Elisabeth has explored various different creative mediums, and she is particularly drawn towards the brilliant color and power of the Impressionist school. Elisabeth particularly enjoys impasto painting with the palette knife technique with both oils and acrylics, and has her work internationally exhibited in England, Austria, and the United States.

She also keeps a nature journal with drawings and paintings of local flora and fauna that she uses to inspire her work. She is a contributing writer for Verily Magazine and blog.

The lush tropical landscape and gorgeous waters of Florida, as well as the many countries the artist has traveled to, inspire Elisabeth to paint and perfectly fit her vibrant palette knife style.

Elisabeth is studying for one year at an art school in Florence, Italy.
