“The caterpillar does all the work, but the butterfly gets all the publicity.” George Carlin. We take for granted that we all work or hope to work. While perfecting my art skills, I’ve come to appreciate the workday, not only as an essential activity but also one that can be visually appealing. I am interested in depicting people in various aspects of life, especially working life. I paint primarily in acrylics on canvas although I also have smaller works in colored pencil on paper. My paintings appear on the website of East-West Fine Art gallery in Naples, Florida. I also have exhibited at the Naples Art Association where my painting “Your Move” won Best in Show. My paintings and drawings require no political thought or interpretation–it’s all there on the canvas or paper. I believe collectors will like what they see, especially their ability to own a good piece of original art at a reasonable price.
