Shiree is the oldest of four girls, born in Newport Oregon and growing up in southwest Montana. She comes from a hard working family with her father as a logger and later owning a drywall business.  All four girls worked in drywall and much of Shiree’s knowledge and love for texture come from working with her father.

Sketching and painting was something very much apart of her childhood. In the mid 1990’s Shiree was very interested in faux finishes and by 2002 made the decision to take professional classes from Faux Effects International and to launch her own business. Shiree has been trained in various faux finishes in Seattle WA, Las Vegas NV, Omaha NB, Bozeman MT and Vero Beach FL. She has also taken oil and water color classes from local artists in Bozeman MT and Naples FL.

Being very interested in the chemical process of mediums she is always creating and trying new and fresh approaches to creating faux finishes and abstract art.

Always drawn to the ocean Shiree moved to Naples, FL in 2005 to present. Abstract art has always been a passion and in 2007 she began commissioned pieces in oil and mixed medium.

Loving texture, fluidity and dimension in 2017 Shiree began creating paint skins using metallic’s and mica to create her envisioned pieces to plexiglass.
