Tat Georgieva

I am Belorussian born full time artist, living, and working now in Australia since 2007. I studied in Belorussian University of Art and Craft and gained a bachelor’s degree in visual arts (specializing in Tapestry) in 2001. 

Having worked as a graphic artist/illustrator and art director for 11 years, i decided to become a full-time artist around year 2011, occasionally weaving tapestries. 

Since then I always evolve my style to something new, playing with textures and exploring the light that the nature offers us in everchanging scenery. 

Most of my artworks are inspired by Australian nature and its sacred geometry, blue shades of the ocean and amazing greenery of Adelaide hills. They are an echo of the eternal connection of landscape and our human perception. 

Bringing joyful colors and organic forms together I create vibrant energy on the canvas, so it transfers in a space where it’s going to live.
